PERSONAL INJURY

As a system designed to compensate the victim of a motor vehicle accident for personal injuries, the old tort system fell far short of its expectations. Some injured parties received no compensation, while others. received far less than their medical and economic costs.



 
 


WORKER'S COMPENSATION
We represent employees who are injured on the job in claims for lost wages and medical treatment expenses against private industry, Federal state and local government employers and their worker’s compensation insurers. We also represent injured employees in claims for punitive damages for the willful misconduct of their employer and uninsured employees who are not covered by workers compensation insurance.


CRIMINAL LAW
Our firm has extensive experience defending the rights of individuals who are arrested and accused of criminal offenses. We handle all types of criminal cases, including minor infractions and misdemeanors, motor vehicle offenses and more serious criminal charges such as drug possession, narcotics sales, theft and grand larceny, white collar offenses, sex offenses arson and conspiracy.

We represent individual owners, stockholders, and business in all matters, including the litigation of disputes between other businesses or firms, disputes between partners involving ownership and dissolution, as well as in the acquisition, divestment or transfer of business assets.


LOSS OF MOTOR VEHICLE LICENSE
Our firm has extensive experience before the Motor Vehicle Board of Appeals in all matters relating to clients' loss of license for motor vehicle violations, surcharges and habitual traffic offender violations.


PROBATE & ESTATE ADMINISTRATION
Our firm has handled numerous matters involving Probate and Estate Administration, which is the legal process of the payment of debts and the distribution of assets upon the death of an individual. We have also represented numerous individuals wishing to contests a Will or the probate of an Estate.


PUBLIC EMPLOYEE DISABILITY RETIREMENT
Our firm has extensive experience in disability retirement for governmental employees. We counsel our clients as to whether they are entitled to disability retirement and advise them throughout the entire process, preparing the necessary applications and representing them at hearings before their local Retirement Board, the Contributory Retirement Appeals Board, the Division of Administrative Law Appeals, Superior Court and in Appeals Court.


SOCIAL SECURITY DISABILITY RETIREMENT
We represent individuals in their claims for social security disability benefits before the Social Security Administration. We counsel our clients on their eligibility for benefits and represent them throughout the entire process from preparing and filing the necessary forms to initiate a claim to representing them at hearings before an Administrative Law Judge.


REAL ESTATE
Our firm represents both commercial clients and individuals in all proceedings and transactions that deal with real estate closings, including offer to purchase, purchase and sale, construction, mortgages and foreclosures, leases, zoning, and quiet title actions.
